2025 ISA Results Highlight the High Standard of Teaching and Learning at MIS
2025年ISAテスト結果は、MISの高い教育水準を示しています。

We are proud to celebrate an example of the academic success of our students, staff, parents, and MIS school community. In February 2025, students from Grades 3 to 5 participated in the International Schools’ Assessment (ISA), a programme developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and designed specifically for international schools. The test provides MIS with a means to compare the academic performance of our students with other international school students.

この度、MISの児童が優れた成績を収めましたことをご報告申し上げます。この成果は児童、教職員、保護者の皆様、そしてMISコミュニティーが一体となって取り組んだ証です。今年2月、本校の3年生から5年生は、オーストラリア教育研究評議会（ACER: Australian Council for Educational Research）主催によるインターナショナル・スクールズ・アセスメント（ISA: International Schools’ Assessment）を受験しました。このテストは、インターナショナルスクールの生徒を対象としたテストで、当校の児童と他校の生徒の学力を比較することができます。

What follows are facts about the test:
-Over 35,000 students took the tests at 142 international schools in 46 countries.
-4,789 students took the Grade 3 tests; 4,808 took the G4 tests; 5,887 took the G5 tests.
-For purposes of making comparisons, schools are grouped according to their majority home language. MIS was listed as a Group 1 school. Group 1 schools have between 0% and 15% of their students whose native language at home is English.

ISA学力テストの概要：
-ISAは46ヶ国のインターナショナルスクール142校で実施され、合計3万5千人以上の生徒が受験しました。
-各学年の受験者数は、3年生：4,789名、4年生：4,808名、5年生： 5,887名です。
-各学校は、生徒の家庭内での主要言語を基にグループ分けされており、MISはグループ１に分類されました。グループ1は、家庭で英語を母語とする生徒の割合が0～1５％の学校です。

When looking at the overall results, the MIS school community can be greatly reassured that our students’ achievements compare very well to all other groups. In all subjects, MIS averages are significantly above the averages for other Group 1 schools, the Asian Schools’ averages, and the All Schools’ averages. テスト全体の結果から、MISの児童の成績は、他のグループと比べて非常に優れていることが分かり、MISコミュニティにとって大きな励みとなる結果でした。すべての教科において、当校の平均点は、グループ1に属する学校、アジア地域の学校、そして全参加校の平均点を大きく上回っています。結果の詳細については下記の表をご覧ください。
