Makuhari International School is located in an ideal location, 30 minutes from the heart of Tokyo and 30 minutes from Narita Airport. This is an exciting area to live and work, being a hub of high technology situated on the coast and with numerous parks and quiet residential areas. Our school buses make us easily accessible from the surrounding areas and further afield.

Having been actively supported by Chiba Government we are the first International School in Japan to be granted special 'Article One' status. This allows our students special benefits and, should they wish, the opportunity to pass more easily into the Japanese education system. Our aim is to offer the best of both Japanese and International Education through a comprehensive international curriculum encompassing Japanese objectives and a great deal more. Our children work hard and play hard enjoying the latest educational resources in a spacious, yet structured environment.
