Makuhari International School currently has classes available for admission from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 6 for the 2012/2013 academic year. The procedures for enrolment are on the topics page on our website. Details for enrolling for April 2012 were added to our topics page in early September.
The school will aim to admit children at the beginning of, as well as during each school year up to, but not exceeding the school's standard number of twenty (in Kindergarten 1 to Kindergarten 3 classes) and twenty four (in Grades 1 upwards). For more detailed criteria regarding how children are chosen, please see the Qualification Requirements.

In most year groups there are employed not only class teachers, but also additional teachers to support, as well as class assistants with younger classes. In kindergarten we also employ (in addition to class teachers and class assistants) class support teachers who are native Japanese teachers with Japanese kindergarten qualifications.
Specialist staff teach music, Japanese, library skills and ESL (English as a Second Language).
